Ghost Flower Vase, Smoke-Fired

Touched by the smoke and flame, this wheel thrown vessel was fired in an open-air sawdust and wood kiln with a combination of organic materials and metals that flash and fume creating the beautiful coloring and dramatic surfaces. Wrapping the piece are floral impressions and a ghost flower left behind by the smoke and flame. A truly unique and special vessel.
