Touched by the smoke and flame, this Snake Ellipse Bowl Wall Hanging was fired in an open-air sawdust and wood kiln with a combination of organic materials and metals that flash and fume creating the beautiful coloring and dramatic surfaces. A copper patina moon is painted behind the carved snake and then touched touched by red and orange flashing and starry blackened carbonization. The crackle glazed base has a special surprise carved detail on the foot and built in hanging system. A truly unique and special piece.
