Touched by the smoke and flame, this one-of-a-kind hand built vessel was fired in an open-air sawdust and wood kiln with a combination of organic materials and metals that flash and fume creating the beautiful coloring and dramatic surface and celestial markings. Pulled hot from the fire, I singe the pot with horsehair which imprints its carbon trails.
